The story of this wine

Kouloura comes only from terraces one to twelve, where the baskets were first coiled in 1934. The roots go down six metres into the pumice.

Old vines give fewer, smaller bunches, so the wine is deeper and slower. We age it eleven months on the lees, then another year in bottle before release.

It will keep for fifteen years. Open it an hour before you pour.
